Amy Hagan is the founder of HR Does AI and a seasoned HR executive, consultant, workplace investigator, mediator, and educator with more than 20 years of experience.

Throughout her career, Amy has led HR functions in corporate, government, healthcare, private-equity-backed, and startup environments. Her experience spans organizational design, employee and labor relations, workplace investigations, risk management, leadership coaching, compliance, strategic planning, and building HR departments from the ground up.

Amy created HR Does AI after recognizing that growing organizations often add people before examining whether better systems could solve the problem. She helps founders, CEOs, and COOs identify what should be automated, what still requires human judgment, and where their HR investment will have the greatest impact.

Her approach combines executive-level HR expertise with practical AI strategy. She does not believe technology should replace the human side of HR. She believes it should eliminate unnecessary administrative work so leaders and HR professionals can focus on the work that truly requires people.

Amy has also taught at the college level for approximately 20 years, bringing an educator’s ability to make complex concepts understandable, useful, and immediately actionable.
